Our Journey So Far
Designing the Bottle
We spent months crafting a bottle that mirrors the rugged elegance of our landscape. Every curve is designed to fit comfortably in the hand and echo the texture of the Mid Wales terrain.
The name and logo are inspired by our own "Welsh Shepherd".
Our dog has been a big part of this journey from day one. Through researching, planning, the setbacks and successes, she’s been there every step of the way.
Whilst she is a German Shepherd by breed, she was born right here in Wales - and Wales is where our story began too.
The name feels like a perfect fit. A nod to our loyal companion and the country we’re proud to call home.
The Licences
We started learning all about the gin making process and achieved our personal licences. We also obtained a premises licence from our local council and a AWRS licence from HMRC.
We're very proud to have achieved a 5 star Food Hygiene Rating for our distillery.
The Product
We're very excited to announce that our first product is our classic London Dry Gin. We've poured years of heart into this bottle and can't wait for you to try its crisp, clean taste. Cheers to the first of many local spirits.
Having the Idea
Our story started in August 2021, sitting in our garden and taste testing various gins. We thought, "Why not craft our own?" So we decided to take the leap and create our very own spirits brand.

Deciding on the Premise
Finding the right spot to distill our spirits was a journey in itself, as we searched for a space that felt truly authentic.
We realized that for a brand rooted in local heritage, there was no better place to start our distillery than right here at home. It’s where our heart is, and it’s where every bottle begins its story.
The Bottles Arriving
Our beautiful bespoke bottles arrived at the distillery in April 2026, marking a huge milestone in our journey.
With the glassware ready and our passion fueled, we officially began production to bring our small-batch spirits to life. It was an incredible moment to see everything we’ve worked for finally come together in the heart of Wales.
